Project Coordinator – Specialty Construction & Operations

Location: Rockville, MD (On-site)
Status: Full-Time, Direct Hire
Compensation: $23.00 – $28.00 per hour + Comprehensive Benefits

The Opportunity:
NNR Group is representing a premier specialty construction firm with over 25 years of excellence serving the DMV area. We are seeking a motivated Administrative Assistant to join their Rockville-based operations team. Core Responsibilities:

  • Executive & Project Support: Provide direct administrative assistance to firm Leadership and Project Managers.
  • Project Documentation: Manage the lifecycle of project submittal packets and close-out files to ensure seamless project delivery.
  • Logistics Coordination: Track material shipments from factory to site via freight vendors to ensure strict deliverable deadlines are met.
  • Financial Administration: Handle the filing and processing of A/P, vendor payments, and project activity files.
  • Procurement Support: Facilitate material purchase orders and utilize Trello and DropBox to maintain contract activity and order tracking.
  • Client Relations: Serve as the professional first point of contact for the firm, handling inbound inquiries from potential customers and building management.

Requirements:

  • Experience: 1–2 years of office administration experience; a Bachelor’s degree is preferred, but equivalent experience is highly valued.
  • Technical Skills: Proficiency in Microsoft Word and Excel is required. Experience with project management tools (like Trello) is a plus.
  • Attributes: Exceptional organization, a "team-player" mindset, and a high degree of dependability.
  • Schedule: Full-time, 40-hour work week (8:30 AM – 5:00 PM).
